Ensure to have a full list of questions prepared that match the role and business requirements, which will assist you in screening their suitability for the position they have applied for.
At a recent travel trade event we heard about a hiring manager who during an interview was asked “What is your company doing to help the environment”. This particular individual was looking to partner a sustainable business and this question took the hiring manager by surprise. Don’t be afraid of these questions; embrace your company values. You may even come away with a few business ideas.
